Rock Solid Kidz

Rock solid Kidz kicked off last week and it was fantastic. Sharing with children the truths of God is such a privilege to be able to do. Kids are so open and have so many questions about God and being part of their journey towards God was so very cool. God is definitely at work in the lives of those children and being part of Gods work there was rather special.

We did many games and activities with the kids over 5 days. God answered so many prayers, and myself and the team were challenged in different ways over the period.

i continue to be challenged to grow closer and closer to God and to be more dependant on Him. when i do lots i tend to just do it all myself rather than wait on Him and do things in His strength and direction. something i'm going to work on.

it's now time to prepare for and launch full throttle into Kids4life and the things God is going to be doing there.

how old are we?

so on Saturday night Travis and i were causally taking a late night stroll through the streets of Mr Clear in Ballarat. with some excitement i saw a playground!

we eagerly go and continue our conversations in various places on this rather colourful and welcoming equipment. so welcoming in fact that two car loads of people pull out and join us!

this, Travis and i found quite amusing as at ten o'clock at night in Ballarat there are nine people on a play ground. only two of them were children...

BUSY BUSY BUSY

so much to do!!! so little time!!! (oh why am i blogging then?)

how much stuff can one person do?

i have been testing this theory lately and doing rather well at it. when one person gets up and doesn't stop till they're about to fall asleep in the evening it's a good sign that you're doing too much...

this makes me think what my priorities are. but then the priority ends up being what the urgent thing is, not what is actually the most important. this results in things that require more attention actually end up suffering because i'm just doing what needs to be completed next. rather disappointing really when looked at in this light.

these things can take time to build up so that others can take on more. so to start with may require more time and energy until others are up to the task of leading themselves. so to do things better it can take more time to start with in order to lessen the load later.

well instead of blogging about busyness, i might go and do some of those demanding jobs...
