Batteries
yesterday, everything in my possession that required battery power died...
silly me, i went to church, came back to my car after 6 hours, and found the car had no power. i had left my lights on... oops.
i called Travis, on my near flat phone, who came back. we both stood and looked at our cars, neither knowing too much about what was under the hood. or how to act without doing more harm then good.
Two guys walked past with the helpful comment 'why don't you call the RACV'.
me being the cleaver person that i am went 'ah, yeah, i could do that. i do have RACV membership'
so, call the RACV i did. the dude on the phone said, yeah he'll be there in about 60 minuets. this was not what i wanted to hear with my limited patients. about 10 mins later, the friendly and helpful RACV man turned up and jump started my car.
i then proceeded to drive aimlessly around for about an hour on the instruction of the friendly RACV man.
yesterday evening, on my way home from church my mp3 player carcked it, my transmitter thingy that sends the music on the mp3 player through the car radio also went, and my mobile phone also died.
so i guess the lesson of the day is to charge things that require battery power if one desires their use for long periods of time...
I'm not sure what else to get out of all these occurrences.
