Challenges
God’s power protects you through your faith until salvation is shown to you at the end of time. This makes you very happy, even though now for a short time different kinds of troubles may make you sad. These troubles come to prove that your faith is pure. This purity of faith is worth more than gold, which can be proved to be pure by fire but will ruin. But the purity of your faith will bring you praise and glory and honour when Jesus Christ is shown to you. 1 Peter 1:5-7
Challenges are what life is. This is what we face each day. Some are easy, and some more difficult.
Some challenges can make us feel like giving up, and spending time with God can be really difficult. These are often the times when we need to spend more time with God and trust Him more even though this is the time when we may feel like God doesn’t care.
The scriptures talk about faith and worry. Jesus says that God watches the little birds and that he sees what they need and supplies all their needs (Luke 12:22-31). God knows all our needs, seek Him and he will provide.
Challenges in life test our faith. When life is all hunky doory it’s easy to trust God. Its easy cos you know where life is heading. When faced with things that challenge us this that’s when you find out what you’re made of. When you're worrying all day and still have you're faith and trust in God that's when the scriptures say you're faith is 'pure'. (see above)
If God knows what I'm going through and what I need, I am going to expect Him to answer. It may not be in the way that I want, but He knows best. I will expect something to happen, expect Him to be working.

I stole your phrase "expect challenges, expect God to meet you in the challenges" during mission

I don't think you can be worrying AND trusting God in the same instant, can you?

ok so i don't explain myself well sometimes. ..
i meant that even when we are unsure of the future and what it holds we can still trust God. often we don't know where we are going in life and what is ganna happen in the next two weeks and just worry about it. sometimes go out in our own strength to fix it. but when we just trust God and wait on him that's the challenge.
no i don't think that we can worry and trust God in the same instant.
